Navigating Artificial Intelligence
Created in 2024, this guide provides a phased approach to AI adoption, building internal confidence, leadership capacity, and sustainable practices across Region 10 and its districts.
Impact: Developed an organization-wide AI implementation plan anchored in OCM and KPIs, expanded from a team of one to cross-functional capacity across the organization, trained 100% of staff, and set a course to increase district AI support by 50%.
AESA Nation Conference Presentation
Presented in person at the 2024 AESA National Conference, I shared practical strategies and adaptable frameworks for integrating AI into education service agencies. This video provides an overview of the session.
Impact: Equipped 100+ national education leaders with actionable AI frameworks, achieved a 95%+ satisfaction rate, and elevated Region 10’s position as a leading voice in AI for education.
Gamified AI Training
As part of our annual Staff Learning Day, I developed a gamified, themed AI training on our three approved tools—Copilot, Gemini, and NotebookLM—with a follow-up training scheduled to focus on job-specific applications.
Impact: Trained 500+ staff in one day with a 99% satisfaction rate; post-training AI usage increased by 400%.

AI in Education: A Call for Change
Created at the beginning of the AI boom, this online course introduced educators to foundational AI concepts. Designed with interactive Genially elements and unique knowledge checks, it reinforced learning and kept participants engaged.
Impact: Taken by 1,000+ educators, achieved a 96% satisfaction rate, and provided timely support to schools beginning their AI journey.
Gamified A Digital Equity Adventure
Created as part of an interview project, this course used a unique storyline and gamified elements to explore digital equity. It also served as a showcase of my design process and creativity in crafting engaging learning experiences.
Impact: Demonstrated innovative use of storytelling and gamification to make a complex topic accessible, highlighting my ability to design impactful and engaging learning solutions.
Texas Educators’ Code of Ethics
This required compliance course, completed annually by 50,000–60,000 educators, was redesigned with interactive elements to boost engagement while effectively conveying the principles and standards of the Texas Educators’ Code of Ethics.
Impact: This was a course revamp that achieved a 98% satisfaction rate, reaching 50,000+ educators statewide, and improved ratings from 60% to 98%.

Google Classroom Virtual PD Series
To address the challenge of delivering innovative, accessible professional development, I created a 10-video series demonstrating engaging ways to use Google Classroom effectively. I recorded and edited each video, showcasing practical strategies educators could apply immediately.
Impact: Trained 1,000+ educators through our virtual PD platform, achieved a 95% satisfaction rate, and earned praise for offering an innovative approach that provided PD credit without requiring in-person sessions.
Information Security Awareness Video
I created this animated intro video using Vyond as part of a larger gamified revamp of the Information Security Awareness online course. The video was designed to set an engaging, professional tone while showcasing my video editing and animation skills.
Impact: Contributed to a course overhaul that increased satisfaction from 40% to 98% and successfully trained 40,000+ educators.
Google Certification Course Overview
An oldie but goodie—this video provided an overview of the Google Certified Educator Level 2 exam prep course I created, offering step-by-step guidance on navigating the interface. Developed during COVID, it was part of my effort to transform an in-person training into a fully virtual certification prep experience, making it accessible to far more educators.
Impact: Demonstrated video production and editing skills while contributing to a virtual program that expanded reach from small groups of ~100 to 1,000+ educators and supported a 99% pass rate on the Google Level 2 exam.
